Wonderfully produced, Vinnie Ferra’s “Man vs. Machine” proves an impressive debut album full of lush sound, sweeping orchestral arrangements, and beautiful harmonies. Short and sweet, the record makes full use of intricate guitar parts paired with broad strings – which paired with female harmonies, are reminiscent of Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan. Photographer Valentina Vos has raw talent.  She will be releasing a book, One Seventy Four, containing images of 25 young models.  She says, “For this project I photographed 25 young models.  During these photo shoots I concentrated on portraying the characters of the girls instead of their appearances.  Now days more and more young girls are being portrayed as women and I wanted to break with this.  I’m showing you the girls, not the models.”  The book is expected to be released in June and can be pre-ordered via  valentinavos@live.nl
