Wonderfully produced, Vinnie Ferra’s “Man vs. Machine” proves an impressive debut album full of lush sound, sweeping orchestral arrangements, and beautiful harmonies. Short and sweet, the record makes full use of intricate guitar parts paired with broad strings – which paired with female harmonies, are reminiscent of Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan. I’m so excited that popstar and fellow waffles girl Sky Ferreira’s first music video is finally out! Her newest single “17″ is incredibly catchy and was instantly one of my new favorites, and the video brings her Lolita looks to the next level. As a song about partying with a fake ID when you’re only 17 and your friends are all 21, Sky’s scandalous video makes her life seem just as exciting as anyone legal.
